U-21
The young Rojiblancos faced Puebla this morning in Matchday 15, in a thrilling match that started in the best possible way for el Rebaño. Just 3 minutes in, Diego Latorre opened the scoring with a powerful header, reflecting Guadalajara’s strong start, as they controlled the lead with defensive organization and constant attacking intent to head into halftime ahead.
In the second half, things became more complicated after Puebla scored twice early on to take the lead. However, Guadalajara showed its competitive DNA by never backing down and continuing to push forward. That pressure paid off in the 55th minute, when Carlos Corona equalized. Later, in the 87th minute, Diego Latorre struck again to complete his brace and secure the win for el Rebaño.
This important result places los Rojiblancos in fourth place in the standings with 28 points heading into the final stretch of the tournament.
