01/04/2023 23:27 / Javier Quezada

Chivas did everything to take a two-goal lead, but paid dearly for their defensive distractions and ended up drawing 3-3 in the Clásico Tapatío on Matchday 13 of the Clausura 2023, which was played this Saturday night at the Estadio Jalisco. With this result, the Rebaño momentarily climbed one position to sixth place overall with 22 points.

The goals:

- At 5', Carlos Cisneros projected Roberto Alvarado down the flank, who escaped at full speed; meanwhile, Ronaldo Cisneros made an attractive move inside the area to leave the entire right flank free, which was well exploited by 'Piojo' to head for the goal and coolly define, crossing to the left corner, impossible to save.
- At 30', the Rebaño extended its lead through 'Charal', who received the ball on the right flank, then cut inside, leaving two defenders in the way, and crossed to the goalkeeper's far post, a superb goal.
- The locals cut the deficit 3 minutes later, after Quiñones took advantage of a hasty exit by 'Wacho', who tried to prevent a header by Furch, and the ball was left inside the area for him to simply push it into the net.
- The neighboring team equalized in the last minute of the first half, with a header by Ozziel Herrera that went inside the goal, just inside the right post.

The dangerous ones:
- At the 28th minute, Chivas gave the first warning, after Alexis put 'Chicote' alone in front of the goal, but he crossed his shot too far.
- At 13', 'Tiba' stole the ball from Quiñones, then drove for several meters and gave the ball to Alexis, who shook off his mark and tried his luck from half distance, but his shot went into the hands of Vargas,
- At 41', the 'Nene' put a shot between the lines that left Alexis with an advantage in front of the goal, but his shot was saved by the goalkeeper.
- At 48', 'Nene' reached the back line and put in a delayed pass that 'Charal' managed to connect with the tip of his foot, Vargas managed to spit the attempt, but left the ball at the feet of 'Chicote' whose shot went just wide.
