How did Chivas U18 do in the first leg of the Semifinals?

10/05/2023 15:12 / Enrique Noriega

Guadalajara U18s were always aware that the Semifinal would not be easy, as Rayados has shown throughout the Clausura 2023, they are one of the most serious contenders for the title. Which is why the first leg of the series was so even and ended in a 0-0 draw at Verde Valle.

From the first minute, both teams neutralized each other, which limited the excitement in the goals as there were not so many dangerous approaches. However, there was a period in which Monterrey dominated and the red and white goalkeeper, David Nungaray, put on his hero's cape and with his spectacular saves prevented any harm.

The bad news for the team coached by Luis Peña is that Hugo Camberos was injured during the first half and is doubtful to travel to the second leg, which will be played next Saturday at 11:30 am in El Barrial.
