Mexico is giving a lot to talk about at the Pan American Games in Santiago 2023, as it is currently in third place with 140 medals. We can proudly say that 3 of them are also for Guadalajara players.

In total there are 6 Chivas players with medals in the Pan American Games and we will tell you who they are:

- Araceli Torres and Alicia Cervantes, Gold Medalists.

The Chivas Femenil players were part of a historic event, as our country had never won the gold medal in this competition. Araceli Torres played 305 minutes during the Pan American competition, while Alicia Cervantes played 89 minutes and scored 1 goal.

- Jesús Brigido and Eduardo García, Bronze Medalists.

The Tri men won the bronze medal after defeating the United States 4-1 in the third place match. Jesús Brigido played 118 minutes and contributed an assist in the tournament, while Eduardo García, goalkeeper of the Cantera Rojiblanca, had no minutes in Santiago 2023.

- Celic Hernández and Francisco Alvarado, Gold Medal in eFootball

The Pan American Games featured the eFootball competition and our Rebaño Sagrado represented the country. With Celic at the helm, Mexico won the gold medal undefeated, as Hernandez defeated Brazil in the final, but had previously left Argentina and Uruguay in the way.

Alvarado served as coach and also had an outstanding participation in the competition.
