There are moments that are never forgotten and those that Hernán experienced this Tuesday at Verde Valle will remain engraved in his heart, as on his birthday he was able to attend Chivas' training session and spend time with his idols, with whom he shared a morning full of Rojiblanco spirit.
Hernán, who was accompanied by his parents and brother, was received by Amaury Vergara, president of Guadalajara, who personally congratulated him on his birthday and gave him a gift with great affection. Afterwards, the little Chivahermano was able to watch the team's morning session.
During the training session, he was able to meet and chat with Jesús "El Chapo" Sánchez, and later received a surprise that left him speechless, as he was invited along with his family to the first match of the Apertura 2025 between Chivas and San Luis at the AKRON Stadium, corresponding to Day 3.
Excited and very happy for everything he was experiencing, Hernán surprised Amaury with a drawing he had made himself, as a token of affection. "First time I get to see them train... and I see them here," he said, while holding a Chivas stuffed animal, which was also a gift to him.
After a brief tour of the Verde Valle facilities, Hernán arrived at the club's gymnasium where he spoke with Teun Wilke, Omar Govea and Rubén "El Oso" González, who welcomed him warmly and invited him onto the field to meet the rest of the squad.
With great enthusiasm, he participated in a dynamic penalty kick shootout and after a few failed attempts, he received words of encouragement from coach Gabriel Milito: "That's soccer, sometimes you win and sometimes you lose, but you always have to keep trying". Minutes later, he managed to score his penalty, which unleashed applause and smiles among those present.
Off the pitch, Alan Mozo approached him to greet him and congratulate him on his birthday; he also gave him a jersey signed by Alan Pulido. But the excitement did not end there, as Hernán was invited to go to the dressing room and there he was able to talk with Cade Cowell and Isaac "El Cone" Brizuela.
To close this day full of emotions and with a heart full of joy, Hernán said goodbye to the team, taking with him an experience he will surely never forget.
