This weekend, Guadalajara's reserves were in action in rounds 5 and 6 of the 2025 Apertura, and since we know that Chivahermanos fans also follow the Rojiblanca youth academy closely, here's how they fared in their matches.
U-15 (Men's)
- We start with the Sub 15, who visited the borderlands to face Xolos. The match was exciting, as the Rebaño started losing at 5'. It wasn't until 79' that Marcelo Villarreal scored the equalizer, and at 89' Ángel Morales came off the bench to seal the final 1-2 in favor of the Rojiblancos.
With this result, Chivas Under-15s are in second place in Group 2 with 15 points.
U-17 (Men's)
- Meanwhile, the Under-17s lost 2-1 to Tijuana. The border team took the lead in the 18th minute, but the red-and-white team quickly equalized when Deibith Armenta scored for the Tapatíos in the 21st minute. However, in the 60th minute, Gael Lizárraga scored the winning goal for Tijuana.
U-19 (Women's)
- The Rojiblancas tied 1-1 against Xolas in Tijuana. The Rebaño took the lead in the 6th minute with a goal by Citlalli Conchas, but in the 40th minute, Tijuana tied the game 1-1 with a goal by Naomi Rojo.
At the moment, Las Rojiblancas are sixth in Group 2 with 6 points.
U-19 (Men)
- Chivas played matchday 5 against the Bravos and shared the points with a 1-1 draw. Leonel Calderón scored for the Rebaño in the 90th minute, but in stoppage time, the Juárez team equalized.
U-21 (Men)
- Finally, Chiverío's Under-21 team faced Bravos de Juárez in the Perla de Occidente, where they achieved a valuable 2-0 victory that puts them at the top of the table, even with one game less. The Rebaño earned three points thanks to goals from Isaac 'Cone' Brizuela and Marioni Ham.
Guadalajara Under-21 remains in fourth place overall with 9 points.
