Isla Navidad, Colima.- It is well known that the Rojiblanca youth academy is an inexhaustible source of talent, constantly working to develop the best Mexican players on and off the field. Proof of this is the 4,115 total minutes that Gabriel Milito's team accumulated in the Apertura 2025, as the coach supports the club's vision of total confidence in young players.
Just as he did six months ago, the Rebaño coach has included several players from our youth teams in the squad he is currently working with, with the aim of observing them closely and, if necessary, considering them for the 2026 Clausura tournament. In total, there are nine young players from different teams and categories of the Cantera Rojiblanca, and we present them to you below.
- Sebastián Liceaga / Tapatío / Goalkeeper

A goalkeeper with great reflexes, who is a good shot-stopper and has several resources at his disposal when playing in the area. He also has good judgment with his feet when coming off his line, and his clearances and low passes are usually accurate.
- Robinho Romero / Chivas Subs / Goalkeeper

A goalkeeper who has demonstrated his talent in the different youth categories of Guadalajara. He has good footwork and is agile in stopping balls that threaten his goal. As if that weren't enough, he is a great penalty saver.
- Francisco Méndez / Tapatío / Defender

A left-footed center back with good physical presence and ball control. He made his way through the Rebaño's youth teams until he earned a permanent spot with the 'Tapa'. He knows how to read the timing of the play to cut off the opponent's advances, added to his ability to play long balls.
- Leonardo Jiménez / Tapatío / Defender

A tireless full-back or wing-back on the right side. His physical stamina allows him to cover the entire wing, so he can appear in either area depending on the situation.
- Ángel Díaz / Tapatío / Defense

He arrived as a reinforcement for Tapatío ahead of CL26. He is an extremely agile center back without the ball, efficient in covering behind and excels with the ball at his feet.
- Samir Inda / Tapatío / Midfielder

Left-footed, pivot and inside forward, outstanding long range, second line arrival, good defensive positioning.
- Jorge Guzmán / Tapatío / Forward

After an outstanding first semester with the Rojiblanca affiliate, Guzmán will seek to demonstrate his imbalance on the left wing in this preseason. Added to this is his skilled left foot, both for finding the best-positioned teammate and for shooting on goal.
- Gael García Ortega / Chivas Subs / Forward

Left-footed attacking midfielder, decisive in the final third with his final pass and finishing, winner of offensive duels on the inside, thanks to his agility and dribbling.
- Sergio Aguayo / Tapatío / Forward

'Tapa's top scorer during AP25, thanks to the eight goals he scored in the silver circuit. He is a striker who stands out for his strength in 1-on-1 duels, with a good shot on goal and an instinct for finding space inside the area.
