The Liguilla is about to begin for Guadalajara, who will look to deliver a strong performance against Tigres this Saturday evening at Estadio Universitario and strike first in the Clausura 2026 Quarterfinal series.

With a squad that blends experience and youth from the Rojiblanca Academy, Gabriel Milito called up 24 players aiming to bring joy to the Rojiblanca Nation and take an advantage into the decisive match at Estadio AKRON, where the team is unbeaten in its last 13 games.

What’s new for El Rebaño ahead of the clash with UANL?

  • The good news for the Rojiblanca Nation is that José Castillo and Ángel Sepúlveda were included in the squad and made the trip to Monterrey for the match against Tigres.
  • The head coach also added Sebastián Liceaga, Ángel Chávez, Samir Inda, Leonardo Jiménez, and Sergio Aguayo from Tapatío, along with Hugo Mata from the U-21 team.
  • Daniel Aguirre and Hugo Camberos traveled with the team to support their teammates at the stadium, but both are still in recovery. “Dani” suffered a muscle injury at the end of Matchday 17 against Tijuana, while Hugo recently experienced muscle discomfort.
