History continues to be written at Verde Valle. After Chivas formed the core of the Mexican National Team that competed at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, the Rojiblanca Academy has once again demonstrated its importance to Mexican soccer by contributing 12 players to the latest Mexico U-20 and Mexico U-23 National Team call-ups.
Eight academy graduates will represent Mexico at the U-20 level, while four more have been selected for the U-23 squad. The numbers reflect the outstanding player development carried out by Club Deportivo Guadalajara, confirming that the future of El Tri continues to be built at the Rojiblanca Academy.
Eight Rojiblancos Will Fight for a World Cup and Los Angeles 2028 Berth
The Mexico U-20 National Team will compete in the Concacaf U-20 Championship, which will take place from July 24 to August 9 in Mexico. The tournament will award qualification spots for both the FIFA U-20 World Cup and the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.

Meanwhile, the Mexico U-23 National Team will compete at the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, beginning on July 30. El Tri will be looking to capture its eighth gold medal in the competition, with several representatives from the Sacred Flock.
