Some days are meant to be celebrated throughout the entire Nación Rojiblanca, and today is certainly one of them, as we celebrate Daniel Aguirre’s birthday. Born in Redwood City, California, on July 28, 1999, the midfielder joined Guadalajara ahead of the Apertura 2024 to strengthen the Rebaño Sagrado and has since become an important figure for the team, earning the affection of Chivahermanos everywhere. Since his arrival, his commitment and professionalism have made him a key piece of Gabriel Milito’s Rojiblanco squad.
A product of the LA Galaxy Academy, Aguirre earned his place with the club’s first team after an outstanding development process. He also represented the United States at the youth international level, gaining valuable experience before beginning his journey with Club Deportivo Guadalajara.
Throughout his career, Aguirre has stood out for his ability to play as either a defensive or central midfielder. His composure on the ball, ability to combine with his teammates, and well-timed runs into the attacking third allow him to bring balance and fluidity to the Rebaño’s play. His consistent hard work paid off in 2026, when Guadalajara extended his contract through 2030, reflecting the Club’s confidence in him.
Today, the entire Nación Rojiblanca wishes Daniel a year full of success as he continues defending the most beloved jersey in Mexico.
Happy Birthday, Dani!
