Chivas have arrived in Torreón, where they will face Santos Laguna tonight in Matchday 4 of the Apertura 2026, with the goal of securing three valuable points that could propel the team up the Liga MX standings.
For the match, Gabriel Milito has selected a squad of 22 players, highlighted by the first call-ups of the tournament for three Rojiblanco academy prospects, who recently became Concacaf U-20 champions with Mexico.
What’s new in the squad?
- Hugo Camberos, Santiago Sandoval and Samir Inda have been included after helping Mexico win the 2026 Concacaf U-20 Championship and secure a spot at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
- Daniel Aguirre and José Castillo remain sidelined as they continue their respective recoveries from muscular injuries.
- Bryan González suffered a muscle injury to his right thigh during Chivas’ Leagues Cup match against Seattle. His return to action will depend on his recovery and progress.
