The Rojiblanco Academy continued its Apertura 2026 campaign this Saturday, as Chivas U-19 and U-21 faced Tijuana in Matchday 5. With Verde Valle serving as the venue, Guadalajara finished the day with one win and one defeat against the border club.

U-19
The Rojiblancos earned a convincing 3-1 victory over Xolos at home. Aarón Correa led the way with a brace, scoring in the 12th and 44th minutes.
The visitors pulled one back in the 66th minute, but Guadalajara maintained control of the match and sealed the victory in the 78th minute, when Edgar Vargas found the back of the net to score the third and secure the Rojiblanco win.

Guadalajara faced Xolos in an intense match at Verde Valle. The Rebaño fought until the final whistle but ultimately fell 2-1 to the visitors.
Tijuana opened the scoring in the 55th minute. Guadalajara responded with persistence and found the equalizer in the 75th minute, when Zinedine Hernández restored parity.
However, the visitors regained the lead just minutes later. Despite a strong push from the Rebaño during the final stages, Guadalajara was unable to find the equalizer.
