The Rojiblanco Academy once again demonstrates its importance in Mexican soccer. This time, three Guadalajara players were called up to the Mexico U-17 National Team to play a pair of matches against Colombia, as part of their preparation for the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
The Rojiblancos called up by head coach Jürgen Castañeda are Dylan Avelar, Joseph González and Jorge Lewis, who will have the opportunity to represent Mexico and carry the pride of the Rojiblanco Academy during this stage of preparation for the international tournament.
Both matches will be played against the Colombia National Team at the facilities of the Mexican Football Federation. The first will be on Friday, August 28 at 10:00 AM, while the second will be played on Sunday, August 30, also at 10:00 AM.
