The Mexico U-17 National Team wrapped up its preparation phase this Sunday ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, with two friendly matches against Colombia played at the High Performance Center (CAR).
The players representing the Rojiblanco DNA in both matches were Dylan Avelar, Joseph González, and Jorge Lewis.
What were the results of the matches?
The first friendly was played on Friday, August 28, with Mexico earning a commanding 4-1 victory over Colombia. The second matchup took place this morning, once again at the CAR, where the Mexican side fell by a single goal to the Colombians.
With that, the Rojiblancos will continue their development with El Tri as they prepare for the World Cup and continue their journey toward Qatar 2026.
