The development of Rojiblanco talent continues to bear fruit on the international stage. This time, seven Chivas players were called up by Alex Diego to join the Mexico U-20 National Team, which will embark on a preparation tour in Albir, Spain.
The Guadalajara players who received the call-up are Sebastián Liceaga, Carlos Hernández, Yohan Orozco, Jhonnatan Grajales, Diego Covarrubias, Gael García, and Samir Inda, who will work alongside the national team during the training camp.
As part of the tour, the Mexico U-20 National Team will play three preparation matches in Spain, beginning on Wednesday, September 30, when they face Spain.
Mexico will then play a second match on Friday, October 2, against an opponent yet to be determined, before wrapping up the tour on Sunday, October 4, against Brazil.
In this way, Liceaga, Hernández, Orozco, Grajales, Covarrubias, García, and Inda will have another opportunity to represent Guadalajara and continue gaining valuable experience as part of their development process.
