From the get-go, the visiting team went all-in with hard pressure over Chivas; nonetheless, as time went by, El Chiverío settled in and looked more comfortable on the field.
In minute 4, Solis fired from outside the box way off-target though. In minute 12, Joseline Montoya entered the box and was brought down by Sánchez but as for the referee, it was not a clear penalty call.
In minute 24, Susan Bejarano tried her luck from a very long distance, unfortunately, the ball was caught by the keeper. Five minutes later, Joseline Montoya got the best chance for Guadalajara so far as she unleashed a fantastic curling shot that was deflected by Godínez into the far post.
Unlike the first 45 minutes, Chivas Femenil began the second half with a clear aggressive stance and it was just a matter of time until all hell broke loose for the away team.
In minute 51 El Rebaño got the opening goal thanks to Isabella Gutiérrez who took advantage of a mistake, recovered the ball, and shot past Godínez. Just a minute later, Rayadas made a huge mistake again and ‘Caro’ Jaramillo cashed from close-range to double El Chíverio’s lead.
As expected, Rayadas fought back hard, and Blanca Felix had to work extra hours with a couple of crucial saves by minute 57. Just a minute later, a penalty was awarded for El Rebaño after a foul, inside the box, on Joseline Montoya and Joseline, herself, was the one who scored Chivas’ third goal of the night.
In minute 67 Joseline Montoya got her brace with a neat finish after being accurately assisted by Damaris Godínez. The cherry on the top of the cake arrived in stoppage time as Joseline chipped the ball over Godínez to get her hat trick and increased Chivas’ goal count.
During matchweek 17, Chivas Femenil will host Tigres in a real heavyweight fight next Monday 3rd at Estadio Akron.
