The ongoing commitment of Club Deportivo Guadalajara to promote and strive for a fairer and more egalitarian community in terms of gender was once again evident, as Chivas had a relevant presence at the DMI Decididas Summit, a forum that brings together women in leadership positions.

Olimpia Cabral, Commercial and Marketing Director of the club, participated in the presentation 'The great opportunity: the business of women's sports' and together with Fernanda Sainz, Marketing Director of Caliente; Patricia Molina, Vice President of Marketing of Grupo Televisa, and Andrés Labán, Sports Marketing Director of Adidas, with whom she shared perspectives and strategies in search of the consolidation of this industry in our country, taking as a reference what has been done with Chivas Femenil in areas such as branding, sponsorships, agreements, broadcasting rights, stadium attendance, etc.

"We have to be responsible for generating awareness of the importance of women's sports in any branch or category. If a women's sport requires resources in order to survive, continue or generate better conditions for female athletes, we have to do our part. For example, we have to attend the games, watch the games, support, consume, that it is not just a matter of 'well, now women's sports are in fashion, very good', things are changing," said Olimpia Cabral.

"In our case we were fortunate to have someone like 'Licha' Cervantes, who last year was number one in the world scoring ranking, who broke all records, if that had been achieved by a man it would have been big news on the continent," added the Chivas Commercial and Marketing Director.

Decididas is a movement that seeks to raise awareness of decision-making, promote women's leadership and role models in Ibero-America through content, campaigns and events. The idea is to promote gender equity, boost women's economic growth and foster alliances to achieve these goals.
