Chivas U16 and U14 advance to Semifinals

Guadalajara's Under-16 and Under-14 teams won their quarterfinal matches in the Apertura 2022 to continue their quest for the title. The U-16 team won the Clásico Nacional 4-3, while the U-14 team defeated Necaxa 2-3 on the road.

The Rebaño Sagrado confirmed its status as the best team of the tournament and a firm candidate to become a three-time champion by beating América this Saturday in Verde Valle. Now, the Semifinals, where they will be facing Monterrey, which eliminated Toluca by a score of 1-0.

The red and white team took the lead with a goal at 2', scored by Hugo Camberos; the Azulcrema's responded at 20' via Adrián Fernández de Lara, but before the end of the first half, the Tapatíos regained the lead at 40' with a goal by Juan Uribe.

In the second half, Isaac Martínez widened the gap at 50' to make it 3-1 in favor of the locals; Iván Martínez scored a consolation gol at 57'.
