The Rebaño Chivas 2023 Tournament is already underway and it's off to an impressive start!

The great excitement and enthusiasm of boys and girls, teenagers and family members that make up the great community of the Rebaño Chivas Schools throughout the country and in the United States is once again being experienced with great intensity thanks to the 2023 edition of the tournament that brings together each and every one of them in Guadalajara.

In this competition, which was inaugurated last Sunday night at the Akron Stadium, is already underway in various venues in the Perla Tapatía, 190 teams from Club Deportivo Guadalajara's training centers in different states of the Mexican Republic, as well as in Denver and Chicago in the United States, are participating.

From Monday, April 10 through Friday, April 15, the representatives of each Rebaño Chivas School from the 2006 to 2016 categories will seek to win the title. The great novelty for this year was the debut of a special category for moms.

It is worth mentioning that the majestic inauguration of this children's and youth championship took place at the Akron Stadium, where close to 6 thousand people gathered for this great red and white party. The opening ceremony was attended by Javier Mier, Assistant Director of Institutional Soccer, who gave the welcome and kickoff, Mariano Varela, Director of Sports Operations, who gave the opening speech, and Ignacio Vázquez, Sports Supervisor of the Rebaño Chivas Schools, who gave the Rebaño's Call as it is done in the home games of the First Team.

Dylan Diaz, from Rebaño Chivas Cancun, was the one who offered the sports oath and Camila Morales, from Rebaño Chivas Punto Sur, was the goalkeeper who saved the kickoff. After the parade with all the teams on the Akron's field, the closing of the inauguration was highlighted with aight show, fireworks and fire blowing machines.
