The break in Liga MX for the Leagues Cup has been very well used by Chivas' Basic Forces, all categories have continued working on key points of their respective game models, in addition to making progress on physical and strategic issues with a view to the resumption of the Apertura 2023.

El Rebaño Sagrado has become a regular participant in top-level youth tournaments, and Chivas will once again be present at the Liga MX U-17 International Tournament, which will be held at the Femexfut's CAR facilities starting on Thursday, August 17. The red and white team will be coached by Sergio Pinto, current coach of the U-18 team.

You might recall that one year ago, Guadalajara lost in the Grand Final of this competition against Atlético de Madrid, they will now have the opportunity to gain revenge as the Colchonero team is another of the teams that have confirmed their attendance for the new edition.

Who will Guadalajara face in the U-17 International Tournament?
The #CanteraRojiblanca's rivals will be: FC Dallas, Santos Laguna, Atlético de Madrid, Rayados, Palmeiras, Toluca and Los Angeles FC.

What is the competition format for this tournament?
- The youth tournament will have a single group in which all teams will play against each other.
- At the end of the 7 rounds of matches, the 2 teams with the best overall ranking will play in the Grand Final.
- The duel that will define the Champion will take place on Saturday, August 26 at Azteca Stadium.

We can only wish the Red and Whites the best of luck in this tournament. We are sure that they will make the most of their international experience to strengthen their professional development.
