If anyone has tirelessly demonstrated quality and commitment since arriving in Guadalajara, it is Roberto Alvarado, who last Friday scored a spectacular goal to seal a 3-3 draw between Chivas and Xolos. That is why, in light of this masterpiece, we present a recap of 'Piojo's' best goals since arriving in Guadalajara.
Alvarado joined the Rebaño Sagrado for the 2022 Clausura and since then has made 130 appearances in Liga MX, being one of the protagonists of the Rojiblanco offensive apparatus and author of several beautifully crafted goals. Here are the five most beautiful goals that delighted the Rojiblanca Nation with their tremendous quality.
1. Atlas 0-1 Chivas / Matchday 17 of the 2024 Clausura
One of 'Piojo's' most beautiful goals came at the Jalisco Stadium, precisely in the final stretch of that Clásico Tapatío, which ended up meaning direct passage to the playoffs for the Rebaño Sagrado. It was the 74th minute when he controlled the ball on the right wing, cut inside and, with a long-range left-footed shot, put it in the top corner.
2. Xolos 3-3 Chivas / Matchday 6 of the 2025 Apertura
Obviously, the goal he scored last Friday against Tijuana had to be here, because in addition to tying the game at 3 after falling behind, it should be considered a work of art. In the 96th minute, Alvarado took the ball on the right wing, beat Adonis Preciado, and fired a cross-shot that nestled in the top corner of Toño Rodríguez's goal.

3. Atlas 3-3 Chivas / Matchday 13 of the 2023 Clausura
The Rebaño's number 25 made his presence felt once again at Guadalajara's second home. Just three minutes into the match that divides the Pearl of the West, the striker broke away at high speed down the right and, after entering the area, fired a high shot that left Camilo Vargas with no chance.
4. Chivas 2-0 Querétaro / Matchday 16 of the 2024 Clausura
It was the 89th minute of the match and Roberto appeared to put the final nail in the Gallos' coffin. Yael Padilla opened up the field on the right, where 'Piojo' controlled the ball, settled himself on his left foot and fired a shot from the inside that, as usual, went straight into the corner.
5. Chivas 1-3 Mazatlán / Matchday 11 of the 2023 Apertura
On that occasion, Alvarado avoided a shutout against the Cañoneros with a great goal in stoppage time, as in the 96th minute he drove the ball forward with determination and, once in the penalty area, fired a shot with the inside of his foot that ended up in the back of the net.
