How was the weekend for the Guadalajara Subs?

Both the men's and women's Guadalajara Subs had a busy weekend, as they played Matchdays 7 and 8 of the 2025 Apertura. If you want to know everything that happened in their matches, here is a summary.

U-15 (Men)

The Under-15 team faced Atlas in Matchday 8 of the AP2025. The Clásico Tapatío in this category was painted red and white, as the Rebaño won 1-2. The match started off tough for Chivas, as Marlon Domínguez put the Zorros ahead in the 32nd minute. However, Kevin Pérez tied the score in the 39th minute. In the second half, Santiago Becerra appeared in the 77th minute to seal the comeback.

With this victory, the Rebaño earned valuable points and remains in the fight for the lead in Group 2 with 21 points, a position it shares with Rayados.

U-17 (Men)

Similarly, the Under-17 team faced the Rojinegros in Matchday 8, in a game that ended with a resounding 0-4 victory for Guadalajara. Juan García opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, Gerson Gutiérrez extended the lead in the 55th minute, Jonathan Gallardo made it 0-3, and finally, in the 85th minute, Joseph González sealed the victory.

Thanks to this result, the Rojiblancos climbed the table and currently occupy fifth place in Group 2 with 9 points.

U-19 (Women)

The Women's Under-19 team also played their Clásico Tapatío in Matchday 8, although this time the result did not favor the Rebaño, who lost 2-1. The match started well for Chivas with a goal from Gretel Chávez in the 6th minute. However, Noemí Villalobos equalized for the Rojinegras and, in the 56th minute, Emily Delgado sealed the score at 2-1.

U-19 (Men)

Meanwhile, the Men's U19 team defeated Cruz Azul 3-2 in Matchday 7 of the AP2025, in a thrilling match. From the first minute, Jhonnatan Grajales put the Rebaño ahead, and in the 22nd minute, Sebastián Bucio extended the lead. La Máquina reacted, with Iván Silva scoring in the 44th minute and Jonathan Meza equalizing in the 57th minute. But in a dramatic finish, José Elenes appeared in the 90th minute to seal the victory for the Rojiblancos.

With this result, Chivas has 8 points and is in 14th place in the overall standings.


U-21 (Men)

Finally, the Under-21 team also faced Cruz Azul, although on this occasion they lost 2-4. The Rebaño's goals were scored by Gael García in the 16th minute and Leonardo Torres in the 87th minute. The visitors scored through Amaury Morales in the 41st minute and Christian Valdivia in the 70th minute, as well as two unfortunate own goals by the Rojiblancos.
