Once again, Guadalajara set foot in the United States and experienced a true Rojiblanco celebration at SeatGeek Stadium in Chicago, as, spurred on by their fans, they came from behind to defeat León 2-1 in a preseason match.
The Chivahermanos of Illinois set the mood throughout the stands in Bridgeview, where the Rebaño Sagrado sought to find variations in their system, taking advantage of the break in the Liga MX for the September FIFA Date. This also allowed Gabriel Milito to observe all the players at his disposal for this match against La Fiera.
Chivas once again demonstrated the character and team strength that characterizes them, as they recovered from a first-half goal by the Esmeraldas to turn the game around at the end and defeat the team from Guanajuato, to the delight of the Rojiblanco Nation.
With this, Guadalajara begins its preparation to return to league action, where it will face El Clásico de México next Saturday, September 13, at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes, once again with the support of the Chivahermanos from the Rojiblanco Capital.
