The Guadalajara Subs, both men's and women's, had a busy weekend in the Clásico de México and against the Esmeraldas de León, corresponding to matchdays 8 and 10 of the 2025 Apertura. Here's how they fared in their matches:
U15 (Men)
The Rebaño Sub 15 faced León in matchday 10 of the AP2025. Despite fighting until the end, the Rojiblancos fell 0-1 to the Esmeraldas at the Gigantera training fields.
Despite the result, the team remains at the top of Group 2 alongside Monterrey.
U-17 (Men)
Also facing La Fiera, the Rebaño's Under-17 team won 1-0 at home. The winning goal was scored by André Godínez in the 42nd minute.
Thanks to this victory, the Rojiblancos are now in fifth place in Group 2.
U-19 (Women)
Chivas Women's Under-19 defeated Esmeraldas 3-1 at Gigantera. The Rojiblancas dominated from the start with goals from Ananda Gómez in the 7th minute, Cinthia Cabrera in the 15th minute, and Damara Gómez in the 36th minute. Finally, Gineva López scored for La Fiera in the 78th minute.
U-19 (Men)
In Week 8, the Rebaño's Under-19 team tied 1-1 in the Clásico de México. The opponent took the lead in the 21st minute, but the Rojiblancos reacted and in the 58th minute, Esteban Mendoza scored the equalizer. In the penalty shootout, the extra point went to the Americanistas.
The Rojiblancos have a game in hand against Tigres, which will be played this Wednesday, September 17, at the Gigantera training fields.
U-21 (Men)
The Under-21 team also faced América and ended in a 1-1 draw. Isaac Brizuela opened the scoring in the 17th minute, while Etsgar Cruz equalized for the Águilas in the 86th minute. In the penalty shootout, Chivas took the extra point.
El Rebaño has a pending match against Tigres, scheduled for Wednesday, September 17, at the Gigantera training fields.
