After an outstanding performance at Estadio AKRON, Guadalajara won the Clásico Tapatío with a resounding victory over Atlas. Chivas catapulted themselves very close to achieving their goal of qualifying directly for the playoffs, and in the process shook off their poor result from the doubleheader.
