Mexico City.- Guadalajara’s academy is the best in Mexico! Chivas U-21 were crowned Clausura 2026 champions after holding América to a scoreless draw at the Centenario Field in Coapa, sealing a commanding 4-1 aggregate victory over their fiercest rivals and confirming themselves as the top team in the category.
After the footballing masterclass displayed by Luis Arce’s squad at Estadio AKRON, the Rebaño played a very intelligent match on América’s turf: they understood Las Águilas’ obligation to attack, so they closed down the spaces, recovered possession, and looked to strike on the counterattack.
As the clock ticked on, Guadalajara’s collective solidity became impenetrable, increasing the frustration of the home side, which simply could not find a way to break down the Rojiblanco defense. After the final whistle, Club Deportivo Guadalajara lifted yet another trophy and can now boast titles in 9 of the 10 youth categories in which it has competed within Liga MX.
CONGRATULATIONS, CHAMPIONS!!!
