The great celebration of youth soccer organized by Club Deportivo Guadalajara is coming soon. The Copa Chivas 2026, a tournament that brings together teams from Mexico and abroad, is now open for registration for the children's and youth categories.
When will the 2026 Chivas Cup be played?
• Children's Category 2026: August 6-9, 2026.
• Youth Category 2026: August 10-13, 2026
What categories and formats are included in the 2026 Chivas Cup?
CHILDREN'S TOURNAMENT
• 11-a-side soccer: 2013, 2014, 2015
• 9-a-side soccer: 2016
• 7-a-side soccer: 2017, 2018, and 2019
YOUTH TOURNAMENT
• 11-a-side soccer: 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012
• Women's 11-a-side soccer
The 11-a-side soccer matches will consist of two 30-minute halves with 10-minute breaks, while the 9-a-side matches will consist of two 25-minute halves with a 10-minute break. The 7-a-side matches will consist of two 25-minute halves with a 5-minute break.
All matches will be refereed by members of the State Referees' Association and the Mexican Soccer Federation, Amateur Sector.
In all cases, registered players must have been born on or after January 1 of the year corresponding to their category. Registration will be open from January 20 to July 10, 2026, or until all spots are filled. Remember that the Chiva Card is essential to participate in the competition.
